For more than 15 years, I have been a Vocal, Piano, Clarinet, Guitar, and Musical Theater instructor. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I currently operate my own studio, The Gwin Studio of Music & Technology, in Linden, New Jersey.
I am a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano with a Double Masters in Opera Musical Theater, Piano Pedagogy, and Performance from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
In my career, I have served as a Vocal Instructor for AMAS Repertory Theater, Inc. in New York City, a nonprofit, multiracial performing arts organization, as well as a vocal teacher for the Broadway Bound Performing Arts Center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey.

Musical Achievements
Through the years, I have written several musicals for children as well as composed music for vocalists, pianists, and guitarists. I have played a host of weddings, funerals, talent shows, private parties, church events, graduations, and musical theater auditions. Some of my theatrical performances include:
